Michigan Abolitionist Project (MAP) is an anti-human trafficking organization that engages individuals and communities in using their gifts and creativity to combat human trafficking around the state. We are looking for talented artists to donate pieces for the Unbound Project, a collaborative event featuring material artists and musicians meant to raise awareness about human trafficking in Michigan, and funds for MAP’s Prevention and Survivor Support efforts. Our objective is to communicate poignant themes about human trafficking to the general public through the work of Michigan artists. Accepted pieces will be auctioned off at the Unbound Project.
Thank you for submitting your piece(s) for consideration in the Unbound Project! Artists may submit more than one piece for the Unbound Project. If you submit more than one piece, you will have to fill out a submission form for each piece. All submissions are due by June 30th. If you are working on a piece that will not be finished by June 30th, please contact us about a deadline extension! Our panel of judges will review submitted pieces, and artists will be notified of acceptance by July 14th. The Unbound Project will take place on September 7th, at the Crofoot in Pontiac, MI.
