Port Huron – Human Trafficking Awareness Seminar

The Kiwanis of Port Huron, along with the Michigan Abolitionist Project, invite you to learn about human trafficking at this Citizens Awareness Seminar held at the lovely Blue Water Conference Center in Port Huron.

The morning features a panel of experts who will discuss the issue of human trafficking in Michigan communities like yours. Topics include how to recognize human trafficking, how to protect your family, signs that help identify victims and how our community can address the root causes of this henious crime. On the panel will be local law enforcement, community experts, and special guest Deborah Monroe, Certified Peer Support Specialist who has survived human trafficking.

This is a FREE event but registration is encourage as seating is limited.
